finally got pics

For those of you who dont believe that i have made this fully working crane, then you are a close minded person. if u want some real proof, just ask me during school, and ill show you a video of my creation, full yworking while i press the buttons. Currently, i cant upload it as the file is too large, or maybe i am just to lazy. LOL

remember when i said i would posts pictures of my holiday project on friday? well guess what i didnt. LOL kinda forgot until now. anyway heres the pics i promised.

this project stole 5 days of my life, it included back pain, wasting a whole roll of electrical tape, more than 1 meter of electrical wire, 2 bottles of superglue (they are really small bottles), a lot of sweat, a little bit of blood (i cut my finger twice and stuck a solder into my thumb 3 times. luckily it was only a slight tap, but it left a burnt meat smell. LMFAO) also cost me 2 batteries, some soldering metal, 1/100 of a permanent marker, a few screws from my hobby box, a bit of fishing line, some clear base silicone, some sewing grade thread, an unused frame for a Pet Door, some scrap metal, two lego bits and a broken finger-nail. LOL

the result was overwhelming, but soon, this project, like many others will end up in the garden shed, and soon to go into the bin. what a waste ==" rofl

This is my creation. it may look ugly, but it performs greatly. As you can see, theres a counterbalance weight (the white thing on the left). The Buttons and switches at the bottom.
The whole thing is mounted on an old frame for a LaserDisc player, which is mounted on an old frame for a Pet Door(the wood thing) which i found in the garden shed (you can find a lot of useful things there LOL)

The top part of the crane (Hanging out) was made from some leftover aluminium from my last project (the rail gun) LOL

This is a closeup of the buttons and switches which move the crane and make it pick up stuff etc etc. this part almost killed my back, and this is where i had the solder stuck in my thumb the first and second time. LOL the buttons were real small and it was hard to solder the wires :P

my favourite switch is th blue one on the left, it moves so nicely. ROFL

This is a closeup of the gears and motor which lifts and lowers the hook (which picks up stuff)
This part cost me one stab in the thumb with the solder. LOL
I also broke a finger nail here while trying to clamp the aluminium to the base of the crane.
A LOT OF SUPERGLUE went into this part. plus the pieces kept falling off stupid 10 seconds to set my ass. LOL

This is an interesting view. I moved the crane so you can see both the front of the head, and the base. This is where the copper electrical wire came into use, i used it to make tracks for the hooks "House" to move back and forth along the crane. This is where i got my first cut, i forgot to file the aluminium after i cut it, and it was sharp. LOL, i got my second cut from the copper wires, well technically it was more of a stab. loose end went into my rude finger. ahahhaas
yea.. the white thing on top is to hold a few strings to balance the fram, i couldnt find anything else.


Underneath. theres my batteries :) some more tape and wires. u may not see clearly, but the black thing on top left corner is a gearbox thingy. that turns my crane clockwise and vice versa. it didnt fit at first, so i had to glue some lego pieces to make it fit. LOL
anyways yea. that concludes my description, hope u enjoyed reading about my holiday project.

Urges

gahhh. wok up at 9am today, much more earlier than usual on holidays. LOL dad said if i dont wake up hes gonna splash water on me. ahaha ...

woke up with a craving for mash potatoes. idk why. i think i was dreaming i ate mash potatoes too. omg i also had the wierdest dream. everyone knows Left4Dead right???? lol, i dreamt i was in this game, and my family was in it, and my friends from school, and other friends and my neighbours. and we played the game basically. strange dream. never had one like that b4 i wonder what it means? rofl. got out of bed, washed, brushed and flushed (the toilet). LMAO i didnt have any mash potatoes in the fridge, nor was there any instant mash spuds. so i ate rice with some stuff my mum made last night. ahah.

then i had a sudden urge to play some CS source. so i turned on my laptop, logged in steam and loaded the game. then i was like.. wth i wanna play left4dead now. but i had to turn off the game and load l4d, and i couldnt be stuffed, so i just played a CS zombie server. anyone heard of EGC? or Crom? they are the best. Gameplanet zombie sucks. LOL no offence but its so boring. any way i played for 2 hours and wasted a lot of time. then i had a sudden urge to turn off the game and go on msn. LOL so many urges today.

anyway, today im going to dedicate 50% of my hours into making the airbag for my physics assignment. Im going with an air pump design with a magnetic trigger (NOBODY COPY ME) *im kinda thinking outside the box a little too much according to ronald. we had a assignment war yesterday. LOL

while i was thinking about my assignment, i had the sudden urge to go on http://wonderexpress.blogspot.com . PEOPLE you gotta check this out sometime, its got lots a funny posts. LOL i just read the one about asian parents. rofl good post. lotsa mum related jokes. but its hecka lotta funny. i hope i get more urges, im getting a lot of things done that way. LMFAO

holy crap . what? like 3 more days until school. idk why im kinda anxious to get back to school. i havent done any work in so long and i think i might be losing my grasp on some thingsss. BUT as i said, from previous wednesday ive been studying and doing work.

today i went to charles birthday party. i have to admit, it was quite unextraordinary especially the fact that he invited me the night before, i was so unprepared, no time to buy any presents at all, so i just gave him 40 bucks LOL. but that was partly my fault, i havent been on msn for like a week so yea. i think i was the only person that gave him something :O overall, it was kind of fun. we played laser skirmish at villawood bolwing complex for like half an hour. i scored top in the second round. LOL our team won all 3 games.

i also wore my newly obtained "greater union cinemas 3D movie glasses" ahaha. everyone was looking at me rofl. but yea, personally i think they looked cool on me. i also realised today, that wherever i go, whatever event i go to, whenever it is, most of the time, i wear the same thing over and over again. i have a sense of dressing nicely, and this one combination of clothing i always seem to turn to.

LOL today i spent 2 hours watching them play Dragonball Z on ps2.
then another hour watching them play some 3rdPS star wars game.

then i went into his bedroom, and his dog tried to hump me. LMAO
nice doggy... stay away from me please :O

anyways i dont have much to post today, apart from that. oh yea i just realised i have a Physics assignment due next week. have to design and make an airbag for a car. ROFL. should be no problem. then i gots a maths one, where we have to do it in pairs. im paired with ray i think but havent talked to him about anything yet. lol

ahaha tonight, i got myself new glasses. *3D glasses to be precise

went to watch ICE AGE 3D with family and stuff, just got back, kept the glasses LOL. phew. omg that was one of the most strangest movie nights in my life. my mum was watching, then her phone rang and i was like ... X_X oh crap. LOL she was talking for like a minute only, but it was pretty loud, and it seemed forever! lol and people were like "Shhhhh be quiet". i almost shitted myself. LMAO

so embarrassing. i told my mum to go outside and talk if it was going to be long, or at least talk softly, cus ill tell you, she was LOUD. lol then it ended to my relief. about a minute later, her phone rang again. LMAOOOOO ahahahhahaha >.> oh well, it was a pretty good movie. lots of people were laughing it was really fun to watch, i enjoyed it. i havent had a kids movie like ICE AGE in AGES. rofl.

as i sit here typing this, i think to myself.. HOLY SHIT THERES LESS THAN A WEEK OF HOLIDAYS LEFT!!!

omg omg omg. its been so fast, it didnt even seem like a week yet. so many things have happened and i got to admit, this was a very interesting holiday, considering the combination of events which took place. haha

to be honest again, i havent done much studying at all this holidays. thats it, im definitely starting tomorow. tonight is my last night of FUN. hope i can pull it off. Going to charlses bday party tomorow. i cant believe he invited me the day before. so unorganised >.>

idk wat to get him, maybe just give him like 30 bucks or sumthing. lol . he got me a red striped shirt by Penguin for my birthday. People may think it was a crap present, but i dont. i love that shirt, i wear it so much, it looks so modern and sexy, especially when i wear it with my Jag jeans hoodie. LOL oh well. so many memories are hitting me right now. idk why , this holidays has also been a very emotional one for me. :( especially with my break up, but ahhhh im kinda over it now :) . ONLY a few days left till school!

Yesterday i finished playing KILLZONE (ps2) on HARD level. omfg i died so many times in the last 2 missions. LOL. omg that game is like real old now, but i still love it, considering i cant afford a ps3 only so i can play Killzone 2. LOL ive played all the levels, easy to hard/expert, and i consider myself a pretty good aimer on ps2. play online too.

OMG lol. i havent been posting for a week! but i have a good reason!. wow.

ive been spendning FIVE WHOLE DAYS at home working on a holiday project i made for myself. i guess i really needed some chillout time away from the internet. i was quite stressed after my emotional incident last tuesday but yea.. my project was: to make a battery powered toy pickup crane out of old scrap material i could find around the house. It had to be at least 90 degree rotatable, be able to pick up a 100gram weight, and had to have more than 3 moving parts. It was quite fun to make and i did make one sucessfully, with 125degree rotation, able to lift more than 100grams, and had more than 5 moving parts! LOL. it was supposed to be for my lil bro, but i realised it was too complicated for him to play with :P

most of its parts were from a really old Laserdisc player my dad gave me including the disc frame and all the motors. im kinda bragging right now but i love my creation and my dad thinks its awesome, finally he approves of something i make. last time i made an air rifle (which is illegal) and yea he kinda rolled me, i showed it to ronald through webcam and he was like.. WHOA WTF IS THAT. LMFAO after that i tried to make a rail gun, almost burned my hand off. ahh, it failed btw. rofl

oh im so confused. im lost LOL . so many things happened today. i just spent half an hour fiddling around on my computer trying to get rid of a virus i cant get rid of. and the i realised it was on a CD which was read only. LMAO
I spent half an hour chasing a transparent virus which would have done no harm at all to my computer. omg im so lost today rofl.

but anyways ive been spending all night on the laptop. i guess its my way of cheering up. :P

the moment of truth

my suspicions were right. we broke up today. and she had a pretty good reason too, which i cannot type here LOL. anyways.. we're still gonna be best of friends. BFFL! i still adore her very much. to my surprise i handled it pretty well, considering it is my first "official" breakup. oh well life is life, as long as we dont hate and ignore each other LOL

Im Kind of relieved too, to be honest. I feel so guilty saying that now. but yea :( Ill get over it soon. im gonna call her again today, just to make sure things are ok.

BESIDES THAT, we had a good time together watching tranformers. i gotta say that movie was pretty impressive. very good storyline. very good choice of character. pretty funny at times and... AWESOME. lol best movie i watched this year ... *so far

anyways today im staying home. got nothing to do. wait dammit i got to babysit this 14 yr old girl. My mums sister's
step grandaughter. sigh she eats so much, i think they dont feed her at home. dad just went out to buy like 10 packets
of those cadbury chocolates, she ate like half of it already, she ate all my chips!!! and my microwave popcorn!
omg wow, and shes not even fat, in fact, i would call her thin, i feel sorry for her she seems too happy here, she
is probobaly neglected at home. by the way she has this annoying attitude, shes always trying to get on my sisters
laptop and always trying to go into our bedrooms. plus shes feeding the dog without my permission omg, shes gonna
make my dog fat!!!

sigh. couldnt sleep too well last night, i was thinking too much about personal matters. i really think theres gonna be
a breakup tomorow :( oh well i gotta handle it. i think its all my fault, i kept her waiting at times and yea. but then she
has been really busy this past month, and we just didnt have time for each other. idk whats going to happen and i think
im going to be really sad tomorow. but then she could just be playing a trick on me. idk so many things to sort out.
its kinda scary too, because im going to watch transformers tomorow with like 30 other people, and she wants to tell
me then, its going to be.. out of place. sighhhh

so much work to do today, ever since that girl came over, the house seems dirtier and messier. omgs LOL. oh well

to mop the house twice as often now, and all the pee! just this morning i stepped in pee. LOL oh well, what harm can a

"Cookie" rofl. sister named it. our last dog was called Coffee, and his girl puppy we named "Milk". Coffee ate somethng
in the backyard and got sick. one day i came home and he was gone, my mum left the garage door open and he wondered
out, and Milk followed him. sigh

but now i have a lot of free time. my teacher always told me to make a blog and that it would keep my mind off things so i can be more relaxed.

but then i realised i had this old account i made in february this year, originally for the purpose of attempting to make money off adsense, which failed due to my laziness, so i was like.. ah what the hell. lol so im using this old account. teh other blog i made was gibberish so i hid it ;) lmao.
